Moorings Social

The Moorings Social Committee strives to provide regular opportunities for community members to gather and get to know each other. Planned events are family focused and emphasize building community.   We encourage Moorings residents to register for our group Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/themooringshoa as another way to stay up-to-date on things happening in The Moorings.

 

Here are a few of the events typically scheduled each year:

March/April:  Easter Bunny Visit and Egg Hunt

*May:  Spring Neighborhood Yard Sale

July:  4th of July Parade

August:  End of Summer Social 

*September/October:  Fall Neighborhood Yard Sale

 

October: Halloween Décor Contest

*December:  Christmas Décor Contest, Santa Visits, and Luminaries

 

 

The group is always seeking new ideas and people to either assist with the events or manage an event.  Please reach out to the group via the Contact Us form if you would like to volunteer or have any event ideas.
