Swimming Pool

 

The pool is available for use starting a week before Memorial Day until the Sunday after Labor Day.

 

 

 

1.  All persons using the pool shall do so at their own risk. They shall be solely responsible for any accident or injury in connection with such use. On any given day, the pool may be closed due to poor weather conditions. 

 

2.  The pool is accessed with a FAMILY KEY FOB. If a pool key fob replacement is needed, please Contact Us by selecting Pool Fobs.

3.  Homeowners of the Moorings who are current on their dues are eligible to use the pool. A Homeowner may bring up to 10 Guests.  Children of homeowners may bring a maximum of 2 guests.

4.  Homeowners are responsible for strict enforcement of the rules.

5.  In accordance with state mandates, children 13 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older, who must remain with them during their entire stay at the pool. 

6.  All swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear. Street clothes and cut offs will not be permitted.  Water shoes are highly encouraged to protect feet.

7.  Infants and toddlers who wear diapers, must wear “swim diapers” while in the pool. Disposable diapers will not be allowed. KEEP IN MIND, THAT IF AN ACCIDENT OCCURS IN THE POOL, STATE LAW REQUIRES THE POOL TO CLOSE FOR 16 HOURS TO CLEAN BACTERIA FROM THE WATER.

8.  NO SMOKING AND NO GLASS ALLOWED IN FENCED POOL.

9.  No running, pushing, dunking, foul language, chicken fights, or horseplay will be allowed.

10.  Wheeled items (bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, etc.) are prohibited from use in the pool area.

11.  For safety reasons, no air mattress or inner tubes are allowed. Pool toys and balls appropriate for pool use are allowed. 

12.  No pets allowed in the pool area.

13.  No one is allowed to hang on the rope dividing the deep end from the shallow end except in an emergency situation.

14.  Beach towels should be used to cover the chairs and chaise lounges when wearing tanning oils and lotions, which can cause discoloration.

15. Any threat made to a resident or resident guest is strictly prohibited. This will result in immediate suspension of pool privileges pending Board review.

 

1.  Residents must request approval from the Board of Directors to have more than 10 guests at the pool.  Please visit the Contact Us section on this website to request approval.

2.  Pool Parties must occur within regular pool hours.

3.  Use of the pool for a Pool Party must be shared with other residents whose use of the pool may overlap with the Pool Party.

4.  The resident must place a notice of the Pool Party on the pool bulletin board following notice of approval by the Board of Directors. The notice must be placed at least one week before the party and include the contact information of the resident.

5.  The resident must notify the Pool Management Company following notice of approval by the Board of Directors at least one week before the party and provide the contact information of the resident.

6.  The resident must clean the pool area after the party and carry out any excess garbage that does not fit in the refuse containers.
